Summary

Harrison's dream is to one day be an NFL star. He is a foster child under 2 cruel parents, Mr. and Mrs. Constable, but especially his father who has him work on the farm for most of the day. It wasn't until one night after Harrison had finished that his dream could become a reality. Harrison had done his chores, but Mr. Constable didn't believe him. He loosened his belt and hit Harrison with the buckle straight in the eye. Then, Harrison used a pitchfork and stabbed Constable in the leg. Mr. Constable flipped backwards over the railing and landed to next to the wild cow. The cow delivered the finishing blow and Mr. Constable was dead. He then gets adopted by a very nice lady and her husband, Mr. Kelly is a football coach. So, his dream of becoming a football player could come true. He quickly becomes known as "unstoppable" as he runs through anyone in his way during football practice. Harrison soon takes this into the real football games, and he is the star running back, and leading his team to wins. However will his luck run out?

Review

Green was a football player himself, winning All-American honors in college and was even drafted in the 1st round of the NFL. As someone that is a huge fan of football, and has read many football books, Unstoppable is definitely on the top tier of football books. This book shows that it is never too late to pursue your dreams.

Rating

My personal rating of Unstoppable is 9.5/10. This book is very inspiring and a nice comeback story. If you are a sports fan at all, I would encourage this book, and trust me you won't be disappointed.

  1. Olisa, I find it weird how Harrison used a pitchfork to stab his leg.
